Central Park NY

I am so lucky in that I am only 20 minutes from NYC and all it's wonder's. Recently my friend Rosemary was visiting me from MN, and we decided to head into NY to visit with another friend Bobbi. We headed up to Central Park to enjoy the walk and spend the day with out camera's as we are photography buffs. I got some beautiful shots including these photo's of a mine that was entertaining the people. I used Uncharted Territory from Polka Dot Plum

Sweet Spring

Graduation

Well come June Samantha will have been out of HS a year, and I'm still getting around to all the photo's I took of her that day in the house and at graduation. I'll get them all done eventually. I had to work on a CT layout, so I used that as an opportunity to get one of the photo's done. This was the stylish outfit she wore under her Grad gown. She really is a beauty DIVA Queen.

Challenges

Since I'm home all day today, I've decided to work on some Challenge over at Polka Dot Plum
So the first one I did today is for the Photography Challenge. We had to take a photo and alter it with blending options or actions. Sometimes we forget to do that to our photo's, but it can really make a difference. See here the before and the after with the Layout I did.

For my Layout I used: With Every Beat of My Heart  by Designs by Sweet Mesquite and Farynar's Wings, and I also used My Love by Sugar Pie Scraps.

Fun Scrapping Time

It's been a while since I actually scrapped for me, and even scrapped about me. All my Layouts lately are for CT work, and although I try to use my photo's sometimes I'm borrowing photo's to use, so I'm not even doing Layouts for my own Albums.

Today I was working on my Layout for a Jessica Sprague class that I am taking and did a fun Layout. Wow what a concept...Scrap about myself and have fun doing it. I even put journaling in it. Now I NEVER journal.

Scrapping Again, What Else is New!!

Today, I've been working on a Layout for KakleiDesigns, who has just release a beautiful kit...
True Colors. So...now that you said the name, are you humming the song? I've been humming this all day as I scrap. Here is the beautiful Kit and the page that I have done with it.

I've been a Scrapping Fool

I'm just a busy beaver Scrapping, Scrapping and more Scrapping. But what am I to do in the yucky weather? And, all these great new kit's that are coming out, I just have to scrap them. So hang on, here they all are.

Theme Challenge

Love not Sleeping

So love not sleeping. Was up bright and early, like 4am. So, rather than lie around staring at the four walls of my bedroom, I got up and scrapped. Surprised myself in actually getting a LO done. It usually takes me a while to get a LO done and this one came together in record time.

Another Snow Day

Yup, we got hit again. This time we got 8 inches. Not bad, and it does force me to get some scrapping done. I have had scrappers block for a few days, and finally was able to get a little past it and get this LO done.
